The Maritime Data website is an Online GIS System which displays maritime data for the entire UKCS.

The data can be accessed once users have registered on the site (which is free and unrestricted) and logged in.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) commissioned Anatec UK Ltd (Anatec) to develop this site with the aim of creating an open area online that is available to both commercial users and the general public, thereby promoting the distribution and sharing of information.

The site is intended to provide a portal for interested parties to obtain an understanding of the maritime environment around the UK and enhance the consultation process and decision making within the UK.

This DECC development has been a collaborative effort and has benefited from input from:
